Its English name is Papadum. Bangla, it is well popular as পাঁপড় or পাপড়. A Poppadom is a thin, crisp, disc-shaped food. Main ingredients are lentils, black gram, chickpeas, rice flour and many more. It normally served with dinner or lunch. Place of origin is Indian Subcontinent.
The food is not popular all parts in Bangladesh. But Non-Bangli Hindus of Dinajpur and Rangpur area are taken with their main food.

How to Prepare
The shape of Papadum is round. It normally fries (vaja) when food id serving. Fry must be in oil and can be cooked by deep-frying.
Papad is a good appetizer and a source for digestive. it has very high in sodium, hence not advisable for hypertensive people.
This is a crackers type of dish. Main ingredients are rice flour, black gram, lentils, chickpeas, potato, garlic pappad, ginger, and many more.
